Rights Group Alleges Plot to Establish Sultanate in Nigeria by 2075

The International Society for Civil Liberties and Rule of Law (Intersociety) has raised the alarm over what it describes as a long-term plot to impose a Sultanate system across Nigeria by the year 2075.

The group, in a detailed special report released on Monday, claimed that the country is currently host to 22 Islamic terror organisations, which it accuses of working towards eradicating Christianity and indigenous cultural heritage.

According to Intersociety, these alleged networks have targeted an estimated 112 million Christians and 13 million adherents of traditional religions, subjecting them to widespread killings, abductions, and destruction of places of worship. The group said its findings indicate that the attacks are part of a coordinated agenda, with the ultimate objective of replacing Nigeria’s existing governance structure with a Sultanate.

The rights organisation further asserted that the violence witnessed in various parts of the country in recent years forms part of the groundwork for the purported 50-year plan. It warned that unless decisive action is taken, the push towards religious and cultural domination could have irreversible consequences for Nigeria’s diversity and unity.

While Intersociety’s claims have been reported by in the media, there has so far been no official statement from the Nigerian government or security agencies responding to the allegations. Independent verification from other major news outlets or international observers is also yet to emerge.

The report has sparked debate in security and human rights circles, with calls for thorough investigation and proactive measures to prevent religious extremism from undermining Nigeria’s stability.
