Al-Hikmah University Founder, Oladimeji Gifts N20 Million to Kwara Education Trust Fund

A philanthropist and founder of Al-Hikmah University, Alhaji Raheem Oladimeji, has made a groundbreaking donation of ₦20 million to the Kwara State Education Trust Fund.
This significant contribution, made through his foundation, ADROEF, is the largest individual pledge to the fund since its inception.
The donation will have a profound impact on the state’s education sector, enabling the Kwara State Education Trust Fund to enhance its infrastructure and deliver on its priority initiatives.
Additionally, the fund will sponsor 10 high-achieving students from the 2025 National Common Entrance Examination, providing them with full six-year scholarships.
Each scholarship will cover tuition, accommodation, uniforms, feeding, and essential learning materials, ensuring that these students receive a quality education without financial burdens.
Oladimeji’s gesture reflects his commitment to empowering young people through education and his belief that no child should be denied quality schooling due to financial constraints.
The philanthropist praised Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq’s administration for establishing the Education Trust Fund, which he described as a visionary initiative aimed at improving learning outcomes in the state.
Officials of the Kwara State Education Trust Fund have expressed gratitude for Oladimeji’s generosity, noting that it demonstrates the potential of public-private partnerships to transform education.
They hope that this donation will inspire others to contribute to the state’s goal of providing equitable and quality education for all.
