Tinubu Appoints Rinsola Abiola as CLTC Director-General

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has appointed Ms Rinsola Abiola, daughter of the late Chief MKO Abiola, as the Director-General of the Citizenship and Leadership Training Centre (CLTC).

The appointment was announced on Monday, August 11, 2025, in a statement by the President’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga.

Ms Abiola, who previously served as Senior Special Assistant to President Tinubu, is known for her expertise in strategic communication and government relations.

She is also a prominent advocate for youth inclusion and women’s participation in governance.

The CLTC, headquartered in Abuja, is mandated to promote leadership development, patriotism, and civic responsibility among Nigerians through various training programmes and community initiatives.

Her appointment is seen as part of the administration’s commitment to strengthening institutions that foster national unity and civic values.
