FG Delegation in Condolence Visit Ogbeh Family Over Ex-Minister’s Demise

Vice President Kashim Shettima on Monday led a Federal Government delegation to the Abuja residence of former Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Chief Audu Ogbeh, to commiserate with his family following his death.
The visit came a day after the elder statesman passed away at the age of 77 after a brief illness.
Representing President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Shettima described Ogbeh as a patriot, accomplished public servant, and a man of integrity whose contributions to politics, governance, and agriculture left an enduring mark on the nation.
“We have lost a remarkable Nigerian who dedicated his life to the service of the country. Chief Ogbeh’s wisdom, humility, and integrity will be remembered for generations,” the Vice President said, praying for the repose of his soul and comfort for the family.
Chief Ogbeh, a former National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Minister under the Buhari administration, was widely respected for his decades of public service and advocacy for agricultural development.
