CDCFIB Closes Recruitment Portal, Shortlisting to Begin Soon

The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire, and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has announced the official closure of its recruitment portal, marking the end of the application phase for Nigerians seeking to join the country’s paramilitary agencies, including the Federal Fire Service.
The board made the announcement on Monday via the official X handle of the Federal Fire Service, expressing gratitude to all applicants for their enthusiasm and dedication to national service.
“The official recruitment portal for the Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board is now closed. We thank all applicants for their interest and commitment to serving with honour, integrity and national pride,” the statement read in part.
According to the CDCFIB, shortlisted candidates will be contacted in the coming weeks, with applicants urged to monitor their email and text messages for notifications.
The board also advised prospective recruits to regularly check its official portal and social media platforms for important updates.
The recruitment portal opened on July 14, following a shift from the initial June 26 commencement date. While the application period was originally set to close on August 4, the deadline was extended to allow more interested Nigerians the opportunity to apply for positions in the various paramilitary services under the board’s supervision.
