ADC Unveils Delta State Chapter, Vows to Dislodge APC, PDP in 2027

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has declared its readiness to wrestle power from the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the 2027 general elections, accusing both parties of failing Nigerians. Speaking during the official unveiling of the ADC Delta State chapter in Effurun, Uvwie Local Government Area, the party’s National Chief Whip, Mr. Festus Igbinoba, said the APC had disappointed the nation, stressing the urgent need to rescue Nigeria from worsening economic hardship. “We are here today to officially launch the Delta State chapter of ADC ahead of the 2027 general elections, so as to rescue Nigeria from the shackles of economic challenges we are facing. With ADC, Nigeria will be repositioned for a better future, because APC and PDP have failed Nigerians woefully,” Igbinoba said. While welcoming defectors from various political parties into ADC, he commended the turnout at the event and assured that the party had come to stay in Delta State. He urged members to return to their localities and propagate the party’s vision from units to wards and across all local government areas. Addressing newsmen after the meeting, the Coordinator of ADC in Delta Central, Hon. (Arch) Julius Efeni Akpovoka, commended those who joined the party, reminding them to abide by its rules and respect its leadership. “ADC is the only viable opposition party in Delta, and by the grace of God, we will take over both the state and the national level. APC and PDP have disappointed us, and we will remain committed to guaranteeing a better future for Nigeria,” Akpovoka stated.
