Renowned rapper Odumodublvck has asserted that Lagos is far from being the optimal environment for burgeoning artists to cultivate their careers.

The music luminary, who hails from Abuja, contends that Lagos is a city rife with self-interest, cautioning that artists nurtured there may evolve into avaricious, egocentric, and self-serving entities.

Odumodublvck has expressed that his upbringing as an artist from Abuja has afforded him a distinct advantage within the Nigerian music scene.

Via his X handle, he penned, “Lagos is the most detrimental place for a young artist to flourish. It epitomizes self-interest.

“You will become akin to them; a covetous, egocentric, and self-serving manufactured entity.

“That’s why it was effortless to traverse the industry as The Machine that I am. I am too genuine for you all.”
