Digital Reformer, Remarkable Party Leader, Bamidele Celebrates Professor Nentawe Yilwatda at 57!

Today, we celebrate a patriot, a pathfinder, and a professor of purpose Prof. Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda as he marks his 57th birthday and begins a historic chapter as the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

From the dusty classrooms of engineering to the commanding heights of national politics, Prof. Yilwatda has remained a symbol of excellence, discipline, and service. Not just a scholar with a Ph.D. in Digital Systems Engineering, but a technocrat who redefined ICT in Nigerian academia, a reformer who reshaped electoral inclusion during his time at INEC, and a visionary who brought structure and empathy to humanitarian governance.

As Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction, he introduced tech-driven transparency and restored integrity to one of the country’s most sensitive portfolios. Now, as Chairman of Nigeria’s ruling party, he stands tall as a unifying force committed to youth inclusion, internal democracy, digital reform, and ideological clarity within the APC.

At 57, his journey is far from over. It is deepening in wisdom, widening in impact, and rising in national significance.

Bamidele is member of APC and the Convenor of BAT Ideological Group
