APC Chieftain Calls for Unity Among Tinubu Support Groups in Ondo

A prominent member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo State, Victor Olabimtan, has urged support groups loyal to President Bola Tinubu to put aside their differences and work together towards securing victory for the president in the 2027 presidential election.
Olabimtan, who chairs the Ondo State Universal Basic Education Board, made this call in a statement, emphasizing the need for unity and collective effort.
Olabimtan also addressed recent reports suggesting that Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa had directed all independent Tinubu support groups in the state to merge into a single structure.
According to Olabimtan, this report is a misrepresentation of the governor’s words. He explained that Aiyedatiwa did not instruct support groups to dissolve or merge but rather encouraged them to work with the party’s official structure.
As the leader of the APC in Ondo State, Aiyedatiwa is naturally the patron of all support structures aligned with Tinubu. Olabimtan stressed that the governor’s support for Tinubu is unwavering and that his commitment to leading the president’s re-election campaign in Ondo State is unquestionable.
Olabimtan urged party members and stakeholders to rise above petty squabbles and misinformation, embracing instead the spirit of unity and collective purpose that Aiyedatiwa has consistently championed.
He emphasized that with the governor at the helm, all hands should be on deck to ensure a united front in support of President Tinubu’s re-election bid.
