Heirs Energies CEO to Spotlight Africa’s Energy Transition at 2025 US-Africa Forum

The Chief Executive Officer of Heirs Energies, Mr. Osa Igiehon, is set to represent Africa’s largest indigenous-owned integrated energy firm at the 2025 US-Africa Energy Forum in Houston, Texas.

According to a company statement on Monday, the high-level forum will convene US and African policymakers, investors, and private sector leaders to explore strategies that drive investment, innovation, and partnerships across the continent’s dynamic energy sector.

Igiehon will deliver an Executive Insight and participate in the Explorers Town Hall session, where he is expected to present Heirs Energies’ bold vision of repositioning Africa from a state of energy deficiency to energy sufficiency.

“At Heirs Energies, we believe Africa’s exploration future will be written in two stories: frontier plays waiting to be unlocked, and brownfield excellence – the careful stewardship of fields that have been producing for decades,” said Igiehon.

The CEO emphasized that the company’s strategy is rooted in responsible asset management, the application of global standards, and a commitment to shared prosperity.

Heirs Energies is currently investing in critical infrastructure and gas commercialization projects, supplying gas to three power plants in Eastern Nigeria. It also continues to expand infrastructure in support of Nigeria’s broader electrification agenda.

“Every molecule must count – not just for production, but for powering homes, fueling industry, and setting a benchmark for what indigenous operators can achieve,” Igiehon stated.

The 2025 forum will focus on enabling investment across oil, gas, and renewables. Heirs Energies’ participation signals its commitment to forming strategic partnerships that advance Africa’s energy security while aligning with global sustainability goals.
