WAEC to Unveil May/June 2025 SSCE Results Today

The West African May/JuneExaminations Council (WAEC) will unveil the results of the 2025 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) on today,Monday, August 3rd, 2025.

This examination was undertaken by 1,973,253 candidates from 23,554 accredited secondary schools.

Dr. Amos Dangut, Head of the National Office (HNO) for WAEC, will formally announce the release of the May/June 2025 WASSCE results at the Yaba headquarters on today.

Many candidates who participated in the 2025 examination did so while awaiting results.

Furthermore, several institutions, including private entities, have commenced their admission processes, scheduling dates for post-UTME screenings/tests.

Dr. Dangut remarked, “In alignment with our recent practices, the results for candidates who sat for the examination will be disclosed 45 days following the final paper, with certificates being printed and distributed to schools within 90 days of the results’ release.”

He further noted that the results will be accompanied by digital copies of the candidates’ certificates, accessible via the digital certificate platform.
