Decomposing Remains of Blessing, Final Year Student Discovered 5 Days after Declared Missing 

A final-year student from Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma, identified as Blessing, has been discovered deceased five days after being reported missing.

 

The deceased student was reportedly enrolled in the Department of Microbiology.

 

According to sources, she was last seen on Sunday but failed to appear for an examination scheduled for Monday.

 

Messages sent from her phone intimated that she had been kidnapped, with a ransom being demanded.

 

However, law enforcement officers reportedly arrived at her residence and discovered her decomposing body within the premises.

 

Edo Police spokesperson, Moses Yamu, confirmed the incident and stated that an investigation has commenced.
