Atiku’s Media Adviser Sets Record Straight on 2027 Speculations

Paul Ibe, media adviser to former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, has clarified that reports suggesting Atiku is planning to run for president in 2027 are baseless.

The clarification follows the circulation of a viral video clip on social media, where Atiku was heard making a statement about his political future.

Ibe explained that the video was recorded in 2022, ahead of the PDP presidential primary election, and not in reference to future elections. He stated that Atiku’s confident tone in the footage was typical of a candidate preparing for a major political contest.

Ibe urged the public to disregard the current interpretation of the video, warning against deliberate efforts to distort the facts.

He emphasized the importance of providing context to the video to prevent mischief makers from misrepresenting its content.

The clarification aims to put an end to speculations about Atiku’s political ambitions and provide clarity on the context of the viral video clip.
