Tinubu Will Win 2027 Election With 15 Million Votes, Says Former APC Presidential Aspirant

A former presidential aspirant under the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Nicolas Felix, has projected that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will win the 2027 presidential election with no fewer than 15 million votes. Speaking during a community outreach programme in Suleja, Niger State, Felix expressed strong optimism that the president’s performance in office will guarantee him re-election. Felix highlighted several initiatives of the Tinubu administration, particularly the recently launched student loan scheme through the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND), as key achievements that have won public support. He described the loan programme as a game-changer for Nigerian youth and a bold move toward educational empowerment. He added that the president’s economic reforms, social intervention programmes, and commitment to democratic governance have started yielding positive results, noting that Nigerians will reward his administration with massive support in the next general election. “With what President Tinubu is doing now—especially the interest-free student loan initiative and efforts to support the vulnerable—I am confident he will return in 2027 with no less than 15 million votes,” Felix stated. The former aspirant made the remark during a humanitarian outreach by the DNF Foundation, where food items and relief materials were distributed to hundreds of families. Felix said the programme aligns with Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda and is aimed at supporting low-income households. He was accompanied by APC Deputy National Women Leader Zainab Ibrahim, who praised the foundation’s efforts and called on other party leaders to replicate such initiatives in their communities. The APC has reportedly set a target to mobilise around 15 million votes for Tinubu from 11 strategic states as part of its 2027 electoral plan. However, opposition parties have dismissed the projections as premature and overconfident. The African Democratic Congress (ADC), in particular, cautioned the ruling party against taking the electorate for granted, insisting that Tinubu must earn his second term through credible performance and not political rhetoric. Despite opposition criticism, support for Tinubu within APC circles appears to be gaining momentum, with loyalists like Felix projecting victory based on the administration’s ongoing reforms and grassroots outreach.
