Barcelona Thrash FC Seoul 7–3 as Yamal Shines in Pre-Season Goal Fest

Spanish football power house, FC Barcelona delivered a spectacular attacking performance on Thursday, overpowering FC Seoul 7–3 in a thrilling pre-season friendly that showcased the club’s offensive depth and rising talent.
The Catalan giants stamped their authority early, with veteran striker Robert Lewandowski breaking the deadlock in the 8th minute. Moments later, 16-year-old prodigy Lamine Yamal took center stage, doubling the lead in the 14th minute and striking again in stoppage time (45+3) to complete a first-half brace.
FC Seoul, backed by a spirited home crowd, briefly found parity through Young-Wook’s 26th-minute effort and later through Al-Arab’s goal just before halftime. However, Barcelona’s relentless pressure left little room for a comeback.
The second half turned into a goal parade, beginning with Andreas Christensen’s clinical finish in the 55th minute. Ferran Torres found the net twice — in the 74th and 88th minutes — while midfield dynamo Gavi added his name to the scoresheet in the 76th.
Although Seoul’s Han-Min managed a consolation goal in the 85th minute, it was Barcelona’s attacking clinic that defined the match.
The encounter served as a promising glimpse into the squad’s pre-season form, with Yamal’s brilliance and Torres’ composure offering optimism for fans ahead of the new campaign.
