Super Falcons to Hold Trophy Parade in Lagos Tomorrow

The Super Falcons of Nigeria will stage a trophy parade in Lagos tomorrow to celebrate their triumphant campaign at the 2025 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON), where they clinched a historic 10th continental title.
The confirmation came amid nationwide celebrations following the team’s return from Morocco, where they dazzled fans with an impressive performance throughout the tournament.
The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) confirmed the Lagos parade on Monday evening, describing it as a “thank you celebration” to appreciate the support of Nigerians, especially fans in Lagos who have stood by the team through thick and thin.
Details of the parade route are expected to be announced later today, But it will be an open-top bus procession which will begin from the National Stadium in Surulere and make stops at several key locations across the city, including the Lagos State Government House, before concluding at the Tafawa Balewa Square.
