APC USA Chapter Urges Yilwatda to Adopt Door-to-Door Campaign Strategy Ahead of 2027 Polls

The United States chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has called on the newly appointed National Chairman of the party, Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, to embrace a door-to-door campaign strategy as part of preparations for the 2027 general elections.
In a statement issued on Sunday and signed by its chairman, Prof. Tai Balofin, the diaspora chapter emphasized that the strategy would deepen voter engagement, enhance grassroots mobilisation, and bolster the party’s chances at the polls.
The group also underscored the importance of aligning party operations with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda. It expressed confidence in Prof. Yilwatda’s ability to drive reform, foster inclusiveness, and uphold the party’s core values.
“We congratulate Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda on his well-deserved appointment. As a seasoned technocrat and academic, we believe he is well-positioned to revamp the party’s structure and reputation,” the statement read.
Prof. Balofin urged the new chairman to deploy innovative political strategies that would not only reposition the APC but also secure electoral victory in 2027. He further called on Yilwatda to prioritize the welfare of the party’s National Working Committee and executive members, saying unity within the ranks was essential to strengthening the APC’s foundation.
He concluded with prayers for divine wisdom and strength for the new chairman as he takes on the leadership mantle following the resignation of Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje.
The APC USA Chapter pledged its full support and reaffirmed its commitment to the party’s renewed vision for national development and democratic advancement.
