UNILAG Begins Online Registration for 2025/2026 Post-UTME Screening

The University of Lagos has commenced online registration for its Post-Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (Post-UTME) screening exercise for the 2025/2026 academic session. In an official announcement on Thursday, the university stated that the registration will run from Monday, July 28, to Wednesday, August 20, 2025. Only candidates who selected UNILAG as their first choice in the 2025 UTME and scored a minimum of 200 are eligible to apply. Applicants must also possess a minimum of five credit passes in relevant O-level subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, in a single sitting. Additionally, candidates must be at least 16 years old by September 30, 2025, to qualify for admission consideration. The university directed all candidates to upload their O-level results on the JAMB Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS) on or before Friday, September 12, 2025. It warned that failure to upload the required results by the specified date will result in disqualification, regardless of performance in the Post-UTME screening. The screening exercise will be conducted online. A mock examination will take place from August 25 to 27, while the main Post-UTME test is scheduled for Monday, September 1, to Friday, September 5, 2025. A total fee of ₦5,500 is required for registration ₦2,000 for the application and ₦3,500 as an administrative charge. Payment must be made only through the official UNILAG admissions portal using a debit card or by generating a payment advice for use at any approved commercial bank. The university also stated that former students withdrawn for academic reasons may reapply, but only to a different programme. However, candidates previously expelled from the institution for misconduct remain ineligible for re-admission. All applicants are advised to use a valid and active email address, as all information regarding the screening will be communicated electronically. UNILAG warned prospective candidates to avoid unauthorized websites and agents, stressing that all screening activities are strictly conducted through the official university website
