North-Central APC Forum Welcomes New Party Chairman

The North-Central All Progressives Congress Forum has expressed satisfaction with the appointment of Professor Nentawe Yilwatda as the new National Chairman of the party. In a statement, the Forum’s Chairman Alhaji Saleh Zazzaga praised President Bola Tinubu for ensuring fairness and equity in resolving the party’s leadership issue.

The Forum had campaigned for over two years for the National Chairmanship to be returned to the North-Central region, citing the need for fairness and equity. Zazzaga described the development as a major milestone and thanked President Tinubu for listening to their calls.

The Forum pledged its support to Yilwatda in his new role and urged all party stakeholders to rally behind him to advance the party’s goals. They also commended President Tinubu for his leadership and sound judgment.

The Forum reaffirmed its commitment to delivering six million votes for President Tinubu in the North-Central during the 2027 general elections, asserting that the task has now become easier with the region reinstated to its rightful position under the party’s zoning framework.
