APC Governors Commiserate with Radda Over Road Accident

A delegation of governors from the All Progressives Congress (APC), under the aegis of the Progressive Governors’ Forum (PGF), on Wednesday paid a sympathy visit to the Governor of Katsina State, Dikko Umaru Radda, following his recent involvement in a road accident along the Katsina-Daura highway.

The high-powered delegation, led by the PGF Chairman and Governor of Imo State, Hope Uzodimma, met with Governor Radda at the Katsina State Governor’s Lodge in Abuja.

The visit was described as an expression of solidarity, unity, and shared concern within the ruling party’s leadership.

The accident, which was described as minor, left Governor Radda unharmed, but it nonetheless prompted an outpouring of goodwill and prayers from colleagues and political allies across the country.

During the visit, prayers were offered for Governor Radda’s continued recovery and safety.

Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State led the opening prayer, while Hyacinth Alia, the Governor of Benue State, offered the closing prayer, thanking Almighty Allah for sparing Radda’s life.

Speaking during the meeting, Governor Uzodimma praised Governor Radda’s resilience and thanked God for his health and strength. “We give glory to God that you are strong, out of the hospital, and ready to continue the mandate given to you by your people,” he stated.

He added that the governors’ visit was not just a ceremonial gesture, but a demonstration of “genuine concern, brotherhood, and the unbreakable unity of the Progressive Governors.”

The visit further underscored the cohesion within the APC leadership, especially among its governors, who continue to stand in mutual support of one another in times of triumph and trial.

Governor Radda, who was visibly appreciative, thanked his colleagues for their visit and prayers, describing their show of support as deeply reassuring.
