APC Changes Venue, Time of NEC Meeting

The All Progressives Congress has rescheduled its National Executive Committee meeting, moving the venue to the Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
The meeting, set for Thursday, July 25 is not mentioned but rather July 24, 2025, will now begin at 2 pm.
According to the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, the change of venue is due to logistical reasons. The meeting is expected to discuss crucial matters, including the endorsement of a successor to the former national chairman, Abdullahi Ganduje, who resigned in June due to health issues.
Ganduje’s resignation has created a leadership vacuum, and party insiders suggest that the acting chairman, Ali Bukar Dalori, might continue in his role until a formal elective convention is held. The NEC meeting will also review updates from the Constitution Review Committee and discuss e-registration efforts in preparation for the 2027 elections.
