Mrs Tinubu Felicitates with Nana Shettima on 50th Birthday

The First Lady of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has felicitated with the wife of the Vice President, Hajiya Nana Shettima, on the occasion of her 50th birthday anniversary, describing her as a woman of grace, service, and deep national commitment.

In a personally signed goodwill message titled “50 Golden Cheers, Your Excellency,” Senator Tinubu hailed Mrs Shettima’s contributions to the growth and wellbeing of her family, Borno State, and Nigeria at large.

“Congratulations, Your Excellency, on your 50th birthday anniversary,” the message read in part. “As you celebrate this day, I rejoice with you, your husband, children, grandchildren, family, friends and loved ones.”

The First Lady extolled Nana Shettima’s legacy of public service and devotion to uplifting lives, noting that her journey through life has been marked by a strong sense of duty and compassion.

“Your life has been one of service, dedication and commitment to the wellbeing of your family and upliftment of not only your beloved state, Borno State, but Nigeria as a whole,” she said.

Reflecting on their close collaboration since the inauguration of the current administration, Senator Tinubu praised the synergy between their offices and their shared goals. “Working with you has not only been pleasurable but complementary,” she remarked. “I say thank you for being a worthy partner.”

She concluded the message with a prayer for continued blessings upon the celebrant, saying, “I pray you celebrate many more years in divine health, peace, joy and happiness. Happy 50th Birthday, Nana.”

Mrs Nana Shettima, a quiet but influential presence in the nation’s sociopolitical space, is known for her advocacy on education, women’s empowerment, and humanitarian causes, particularly in the North-East region of Nigeria.
