2027 Re-Election of Tinubu Is Divine, Unstoppable, Says Gov. Nwifuru

Governor Francis Nwifuru of Ebonyi State has declared that the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027 is not only inevitable but divinely ordained.
He made this bold assertion during the All Progressives Congress (APC) South East zonal meeting held in Abakaliki, the Ebonyi State capital.
Addressing party leaders and supporters, Governor Nwifuru urged political opponents and aspiring candidates to abandon their ambitions and throw their support behind President Tinubu’s administration.
He emphasized that Tinubu’s emergence as Nigeria’s president in 2023 was guided by divine will rather than political calculations.
“God chose President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to be President of Nigeria contrary to the wishes and expectations of the opposition in 2023,” Nwifuru stated. “No amount of coalition can derail God’s purpose in 2027.”
The governor lauded Tinubu’s economic reforms and leadership style, describing him as a courageous and visionary leader capable of taking difficult decisions for the country’s long-term benefit.
“We need someone who can take bold decisions, and President Tinubu has that capacity,” he said. “God ignored others who contested on religious sentiments because He sees the heart of everyone—that’s why He brought Tinubu.”
Calling for unity within the APC, Nwifuru warned against the imposition of candidates and stressed the importance of internal democracy and tolerance of differing opinions.
“It is wrong to impose a candidate during elections. We must be tolerant of divergent views and work together to ensure the success of President Tinubu’s administration,” he added.
In his address, Ebonyi State APC Chairman, Chief Stanley Okoro Emegha, assured members that the party continues to grow stronger in the state, as more members from opposition parties defect to the APC.
Also speaking, the APC South East Zonal Chairman, Dr. Ijeoma Arodiogbu, highlighted that the meeting was part of wider regional consultations aimed at consolidating the party’s base. He commended Governor Nwifuru’s developmental strides and leadership, saying that Ebonyi is on a steady path of progress.
The meeting concluded with a renewed commitment from South East APC leaders to mobilize support for President Tinubu’s 2027 re-election bid and to strengthen the party’s presence in the region.
