Air Peace Launches London Heathrow Flights, Slashes Fares to ₦1 Million, Announces New Routes

Air Peace Airlines has officially commenced commercial flight operations to London’s Heathrow Airport, marking a significant milestone for Nigeria’s aviation industry. The announcement was made on Sunday, with the airline also unveiling a major fare reduction that offers round-trip tickets from Nigeria to London for as low as ₦1 million, starting from August 2025. The airline further revealed plans to expand its UK operations with direct flights from Abuja to both Heathrow and Gatwick airports, scheduled to begin on October 26, 2025. With this development, Air Peace becomes the first Nigerian airline to offer direct services from the nation’s capital to both of London’s major international gateways. Air Peace spokesperson, Mr. Efe Osifo-Whiskey, stated in an official release that passengers from any of the airline’s domestic destinations can now book single-ticket flights to London via Abuja. This eliminates the need for multiple bookings and repeated baggage re-checks, offering a more seamless travel experience. Osifo-Whiskey also noted that passengers arriving from London can connect through Abuja to several key Nigerian cities, including Lagos, Port Harcourt, Enugu, Benin, Warri, Owerri, Kano, Yola, Gombe, and Asaba. He added that more domestic destinations will be added to the network in the near future. The development is being hailed as a major boost for Nigeria’s aviation sector, with Air Peace positioning itself as a key player in international air travel while enhancing accessibility and convenience for Nigerian passengers.
