Oyo Governor, Wife Honoured with Chieftaincy Titles by Deji of Akure 

The Governor of Oyo State, Seyi Makinde, and his wife have been bestowed with prestigious chieftaincy titles by the Deji of Akure Kingdom, Oba Aladetoyinbo Ogunlade Aladelusi.

 

The titles of Aare Omoluabi of Akure Kingdom and Yeye Aare Omoluabi were conferred on the governor and his wife, respectively.

 

The ceremony took place as part of the monarch’s 10th coronation anniversary. In a heartfelt message, Governor Makinde expressed his deep appreciation for the honour and pledged to continue supporting the development of Akure Kingdom.

 

The governor’s post on social media highlighted his commitment to working for the betterment of the kingdom, wishing the Deji a long, peaceful, and prosperous reign. This gesture underscores the strong bond between the governor and the traditional institution, as well as his dedication to fostering growth and harmony in the region.
