Yahaya Bello Marries Fourth Wife, Hiqma, in Private Abuja Ceremony

Former Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello, has officially taken a fourth wife, Hiqma, in a quiet ceremony held over the weekend in Abuja.

The private event was attended by close friends and family members, with confirmation of the union coming through a heartfelt Instagram post by Bello’s third wife, Hafiza Yahaya Bello.

“Our family just got a little bigger and more loving,” Hafiza wrote, welcoming Hiqma into the family and offering prayers for peace and blessings.

Yahaya Bello, who served as governor from 2016 to 2023 under the All Progressives Congress (APC), was already married to Amina Oyiza Bello, Rashida Yahaya Bello, and Hafiza Yahaya Bello.

Despite his political prominence, Bello has maintained a relatively private personal life. His latest marriage marks a new chapter following the end of his two-term tenure in office.

The former governor holds both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in Business Administration from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria.
