Lagos LG Poll: Honourable Bambam Votes in Apapa, Hails Peaceful Process and Security Presence

As the Lagos local government elections progressed across the state, Honourable Bambam joined other voters at his polling unit in Ward C, Apapa, to cast his ballot.
Speaking with Unfiltered reporter on ground, the APC stalwart said he arrived at the polling unit early and was impressed with the level of organization and security.
“I arrived very early. The security was top notch, no cause for alarm. It was a well-organized and demure election,” he said.
He also commented on the general atmosphere of the election, noting a calm and coordinated process despite a slow start in voter turnout.
“The election environment is very calm, everywhere is well coordinated. Cool weather, though a little bit low turnout in the morning, but hopefully people are still going to turnout in mass as the time goes on,” he stated.
Expressing confidence in the APC’s chances at the polls, Honourable Bambam confirmed his full support for the party’s candidates from top to bottom.
“I voted our candidate for chairman and I also voted our candidate for councillor,” he said. “We’re so sure our candidates are going to win.”
While voter turnout was initially slow in the early hours, electoral officials and party agents remain optimistic about increased participation as the day continues. Observers also commended the coordination at the polling unit, with no major incidents reported.
The Lagos State Independent Electoral Commission (LASIEC) had earlier assured the public of a transparent process, urging residents to come out and exercise their civic responsibility.
