Lagos LG Poll: APC Secures Landslide Victory at Lander Close PU 007

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has recorded a resounding victory at Polling Unit 007, Lander Close, in the ongoing Lagos local government elections.
In the chairmanship election at the unit, APC secured a commanding lead with 106 votes, while the Labour Party (LP) and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) trailed behind with just 1 vote each. One vote was declared void.
Similarly, in the councillorship election, APC maintained its dominance with 103 votes. PDP garnered 5 votes, while LP failed to register any. One void vote was also recorded.
With the outcome at Lander Close, PU 007, APC has once again demonstrated its strong grassroots support in the area. The results are expected to further strengthen the party’s position ahead of the final collation of results across the local government area.
Residents and party supporters were seen celebrating the outcome, which they described as a reflection of the party’s performance and popularity in the community.
Election observers at the polling unit noted a peaceful and well-organized voting process, with minimal incidents and prompt counting of votes after the close of polls.
More results are expected from other polling units as the Lagos State Independent Electoral Commission (LASIEC) continues to collate across the state.
