Lagos LG Poll: APC Maintains Lead at Park Close PU 020

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has extended its winning streak in the ongoing Lagos local government elections with another solid performance at Polling Unit 020, Park Close in Apapa.
In the chairmanship election, APC clinched 34 votes, leaving the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) with 7 votes, while the Labour Party (LP) recorded no votes. One vote was declared void.
For the councillorship contest, APC again led with 33 votes, followed by PDP with 9 votes. LP did not secure any votes, and no void votes were recorded.
The polling process at Park Close was reported to be peaceful, with a well-organized setup that enabled swift accreditation, voting, and collation.
Party agents and voters at the unit hailed the conduct of the poll, describing it as a reflection of the party’s consistent grassroots presence in the area.
With this result, APC strengthens its foothold in Apapa as vote counting continues across other polling units under the watch of the Lagos State Independent Electoral Commission (LASIEC).
