APC Dominates at Bristol PU 008 Despite High Number of Void Votes

The All Progressivesg Congress (APC) has once again emerged victorious in Apapa, this time at Polling Unit 008, Bristol, where the party maintained a firm grip on both the chairmanship and councillorship races.
For the chairmanship election, APC pulled in 61 votes, comfortably ahead of PDP with 5 votes and LP with just 1 vote. However, the result also recorded a notable 7 void votes, raising some eyebrows among observers over voter education and ballot clarity.
In the councillorship contest, APC slightly increased its tally, scoring 63 votes. PDP improved slightly with 6 votes, while LP failed to gain any. The councillorship ballot also saw 5 void votes.
Despite the spoiled ballots, APC supporters at the unit celebrated the victory, describing it as another confirmation of the party’s dominance in the Apapa area.
Election monitors at the unit described the voting process as peaceful but stressed the need for improved voter awareness to reduce invalid votes in future elections.
As collation continues across other polling units, APC appears to be consolidating its local stronghold, with early trends pointing to a strong overall performance in the local government area.
