JAMB Penalises 19 CBT Centers for Alleged Malpractices

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has flagged 19 Computer-Based Test centers across Nigeria for alleged malpractices during the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination.

 

Anambra State tops the list with six implicated centers, followed by Imo State with four centers.

 

In Anambra State, the affected centers include Mr. Gr8 ICT, New Era Girls Secondary School, Onitsha, with 584 candidates and 13 registrants, Kachukwuru Ventures Staff Development Centre, Awka, behind Government House, with 356 candidates and 15 registrants, Muna Zita Global Resources Limited, Iba-Pope Church Awada, Onitsha, with 138 candidates and 4 registrants, Integral Development Konsult, 18/20 Enugu-Onitsha Expressway, White House, Awka, with 28 candidates and 10 registrants, Anambra Alphabase Integrated Technologies, Umudunu Village Hall, Umudunu Awka-Etiti, with 16 candidates and 5 registrants, and Afritech CBT Center, Lippo Table Water, No 65/67 Ukpor Road, Nnewi, with 11 candidates and 6 registrants.

 

In Imo State, the affected centers include Abia Oru East CBT Centre, Oru East LGA Headquarters, Omuma, with 650 candidates and 11 registrants, Imo Girls ICT Centre, Ugwu-Orji, Okigwe Road, Owerri, with 251 candidates and 8 registrants, Swintec Computer Institute, No. 5/9 Hospital/Orlu Road, Owerri, with 42 candidates and 14 registrants, and Unique Computer Institute, 2/3 Hospital/Orlu Road, Owerri, with 11 candidates and 7 registrants.

 

Other states with affected centers include Abia, Ebonyi, Enugu, Delta, Kaduna, Kano, Edo, and Rivers. The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board has emphasized its commitment to upholding the integrity of the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination and ensuring that all suspects face legal action.
