PDP Consigned to Oblivion, Bihari’s Former Aide Mocks Party

Bashir Ahmad, the former media aide to ex-President Muhammadu Buhari, has asserted that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has been “consigned to oblivion.”
His remarks were in response to the formal launch of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) on Wednesday.
Ahmad contends that PDP governors have defected to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), while prominent leaders have aligned themselves with the ADC.
Ahmad expressed on X, “In all sincerity, the once preeminent political entity in Africa, the PDP, has now been consigned to oblivion. Their governors are flocking to our party, while their key leaders have aligned with the ADC.”
Among the notable figures within the ADC are former Senate President, Senator David Mark; former Osun State Governor, Rauf Aregbesola; and former Vice President Atiku Abubakar.
Other attendees at the unveiling included: Former APC National Chairman, John Oyegun; Former Governor of Sokoto State, Aminu Waziri Tambuwal; Former Attorney General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami; Dino Melaye, a former Minister of Youth and Sports; Solomon Dalong; Dele Momodu; Senator Gabriel Suswam; Senator Ireti Kingibe of the Labour Party (LP); former Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Emeka Ihedioha; and former Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Sadique Abubakar (retd.).
