Tinubu Inaugurates Projects in Nasarawa on Working Visit
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Wednesday commenced a significant working visit to Nasarawa State, reaffirming his administration’s commitment to grassroots development and infrastructure delivery across the country.
The presidential jet, Nigerian Air Force 5N-FGT, landed at the Uthman Danfodio Airport in Kwandere, near the state capital, Lafia, where President Tinubu was warmly received by Governor Abdullahi Sule and a high-powered delegation of political leaders and dignitaries.
Among those who welcomed the President were Governors Babagana Zulum (Borno), Umar Bago (Niger), AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq (Kwara), Uba Sani (Kaduna), Dapo Abiodun (Ogun), and Hope Uzodinma (Imo), as well as the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje.
During the visit, President Tinubu is expected to commission several transformative projects executed under the administration of Governor Sule. These include the much-anticipated Lafia flyover and underpass, designed to ease traffic congestion in the state capital; the newly completed ultra-modern state secretariat complex aimed at enhancing public sector efficiency; and the symbolic distribution of agricultural tractors to empower local farmers and boost food security.
The President will also engage with stakeholders during a town hall meeting scheduled at the Aliyu Akwe Doma Banquet Hall in the Government House, Lafia.
This interactive session will offer an avenue for direct dialogue between the President and key actors in the state’s political, traditional, business, and civil society sectors.
