President Tinubu Not Chasing Clout, Focused on Solutions, Not Popularity, Says Morka

The spokesperson of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Felix Morka, has defended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s leadership approach, stating that the president is committed to addressing Nigeria’s challenges without pandering to public sentiment.

Speaking on Politics Today with Seun Okinbaloye on Channels TV, Morka emphasized that President Tinubu came into office with a clear understanding of the nation’s problems and has chosen a solution-driven path rather than making politically popular decisions.

“Tinubu is an effective President who has come in recognizing the problems and decided he’s not going to pander to please anyone. He’s going to simply solve the problem, so that tomorrow will be better for Nigeria,” Morka stated.

He acknowledged the difficult economic situation, particularly the spike in food prices, but insisted that progress is being made.

“He did warn that it was going to be tough, and though there was a spike in food inflation, it is now coming down,” he added.

Morka’s comments highlight the administration’s stance on economic recovery and long-term governance strategies, even as Nigerians continue to face the impact of recent reforms.
