Trump Responds to Medvedev’s Alleged Nuclear Threat to Arm Iran

U.S. President Donald Trump has delivered a stern rebuke following a purported declaration by former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev, insinuating that several nations are willing to furnish Iran with nuclear warheads.

In a statement shared on his official Instagram account, Trump expressed skepticism over Medvedev’s alleged comments, writing: “Did I hear Former President Medvedev, from Russia, casually bandying about the ‘N word’ (Nuclear!), and suggesting that he and other countries would provide nuclear warheads to Iran? Did he truly say that, or is it merely a figment of my imagination?”

Urging immediate verification of the claims, Trump cautioned against trivializing the gravity of nuclear threats. “The ‘N word’ should not be treated so lightly,” he wrote, insinuating that the statement, if accurate, bore the influence of Russian President Vladimir Putin, whom he referred to as “THE BOSS.”

Trump then shifted focus to commend the might of the U.S. military, particularly emphasizing the prowess of American nuclear submarines and the success of a recent weapons test. “If anyone is impressed by our ‘hardware’ over the weekend, far and away the most formidable and advanced equipment we possess—20 years ahead of the rest—is our nuclear submarines,” he stated. “They are the most potent and lethal weapons ever constructed, having just launched 30 Tomahawks. All 30 hit their targets flawlessly.”

He concluded his message by lauding U.S. fighter pilots and the submarine crew for their precision and dedication.

The controversy ignited after Medvedev, presently serving as the deputy chairman of Russia’s Security Council, was quoted as stating that “a number of countries are prepared to directly supply Iran with their own nuclear warheads.” The authenticity and complete context of Medvedev’s statement have yet to be independently verified.

If confirmed, the remark would signify a substantial escalation in nuclear rhetoric amid mounting tensions in the Middle East and heightened global scrutiny over Iran’s nuclear aspirations.
