Atiku Miffed by Borno, Plateau, Kano, Kebbi Attacks with Attendant Deaths

Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has strongly denounced the recent violent attacks in Borno, Plateau, Kano, and Kebbi states, resulting in over 50 fatalities.

In a statement on Saturday, Atiku emphasized the need for a people-centered approach to security that prioritizes human life.

Atiku expressed his deepest condolences to the families of the victims and the affected communities, describing the tragedies as devastating blows to the nation’s collective conscience. He stressed that the scale of bloodshed cannot be normalized and urged leaders to prioritize human lives over political considerations.

The former Vice President also criticized the silence and indifference of authorities in the face of brutal attacks, warning that history will judge harshly those who prioritize power over people’s lives.

He called on leaders at all levels to adopt a decisive and compassionate approach to security, one that values human life above all else.

Atiku’s statement highlights the need for urgent action to address the security challenges facing the country, particularly in regions plagued by violent attacks.

His words serve as a reminder of the importance of prioritizing human life and dignity in the face of adversity.
