A security breach attempt was foiled on Thursday when an unidentified individual tried to get close to President Bola Tinubu during an official event in Kaduna State.

The President was addressing an audience to commission projects executed by Governor Uba Sani’s administration when the incident occurred.

The intruder suddenly approached the President, causing a brief pause in the proceedings. However, the President’s security team sprang into action, swiftly restraining the individual before he could pose any harm. President Tinubu, displaying remarkable composure, calmly instructed the security agents to release the man, allowing the event to proceed without further disruption.

The Presidency has praised the professionalism of the security personnel involved in managing the situation. Otega Ogra, Senior Special Assistant to the President on Digital and New Media, commended the agents for their swift and effective response, which ensured the President’s safety without interrupting the event.

The incident highlights the importance of robust security measures for high-profile events and the expertise of the President’s security detail.
