Enenche Rejects N30 Million Gift from Kebbi State

In a remarkable display of integrity and commitment to the gospel, the Senior Pastor of Dunamis International Gospel Centre, Dr. Paul Enenche, has rejected a N30 million donation from Governor Nasir Idris of Kebbi State.

The gesture occurred during a large outdoor evangelical crusade held by the church in Kebbi State, where a representative of the governor announced the cash gift as a show of appreciation for Pastor Enenche’s visit and spiritual outreach.

The representative, Commissioner for Social Duties in Kebbi State, Zayyanu Umar Aliero, stated that the donation was available in cash and ready to be handed over to the church.

However, Pastor Enenche, visibly surprised, politely declined the offer on stage.

“We sincerely appreciate the gesture and the governor’s generous heart,” Enenche said. “But we will not take this money. Please channel it instead to orphanages or any other charitable institution of your choice.”

The crowd was reportedly moved by the pastor’s humility and commitment to the gospel, and the governor’s representative thanked Enenche for his integrity, accepting the pastor’s request with grace.

The incident has sparked widespread praise on social media, with many commending Enenche for his refusal to accept government funds during a spiritual gathering.

The move has been seen as a rare display of integrity and a testament to the pastor’s commitment to his faith.

“This is a shining example of what it means to be a true servant of God,” said one social media user. “Pastor Enenche’s actions are a reminder that the church should not be driven by material gain, but by a desire to serve and uplift others.”

The incident has also raised questions about the role of the church in society and the ethics of accepting government funding.

While some have praised Enenche for his stance, others have argued that the church should be open to receiving support from government and other sources.

Regardless of the debate, Pastor Enenche’s actions have been widely praised, and his commitment to the gospel has been reaffirmed.

The incident is a reminder that true leadership is not about personal gain, but about serving others and upholding the values of integrity and compassion.
