DSS Narrates How IPOB Eats Human Flesh for Spiritual Powers
The Department of State Services (DSS) has exposed the gruesome activities of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and its armed wing, the Eastern Security Network (ESN).
A DSS official testified in the Federal High Court in Abuja yesterday that members of the group were caught engaging in cannibalism, eating human flesh as a form of spiritual fortification.
The witness, who was led in evidence by prosecuting lawyer Adegboyega Awomolo (SAN), revealed that during a raid on an ESN hideout, DSS agents discovered seven members of the group with human heads, consuming human flesh.
This disturbing discovery was made during an operation to curb the group’s violent activities, which have resulted in the killing of over 170 security agents in the Southeast.
The testimony was part of the ongoing terrorism trial of IPOB leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, who is facing charges related to the group’s violent activities.
The DSS official’s revelation has sent shockwaves throughout the country, highlighting the extreme and inhumane nature of IPOB’s actions.
According to the witness, the ESN members were using the human flesh for “spiritual fortification,” a claim that has sparked widespread condemnation and outrage. The incident has also raised concerns about the group’s ideology and the extent to which they are willing to go to achieve their goals.
The DSS official’s testimony has provided a glimpse into the dark world of IPOB’s activities, which have been shrouded in secrecy.
The revelation has also underscored the need for the government to take decisive action against the group and its leaders, who have been accused of perpetrating violence and terrorism in the region.
