Ogun Chief Judge Advises Law Studentd to Prioritise Excellence

The Chief Judge of Ogun State, Justice Mosunmola Dipeolu, has advised law students to prioritize excellence, strong character, and diligence to succeed in their rigorous legal training.

 

Dipeolu emphasized that the legal profession demands the highest level of responsibility, discipline, and integrity.

 

The CJ, represented by Justice Adetokunbo Jibodu, gave this advice during the Faculty of Law’s annual dinner at Chrisland University, Abeokuta.

 

The event welcomed newly admitted law students and provided insight into the challenges ahead.

 

Dipeolu encouraged students to take advantage of learning opportunities, including court attachments, and to ask questions to enhance their understanding.

 

The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Oyedunni Arulogun, also urged students to remain focused and dedicated, stressing that the legal profession requires perseverance and hard work.

 

Renowned lawyer Sola Ojutalayo, SAN, emphasized the importance of academic and ethical excellence, describing law as a lifelong calling to serve and make an impact.

 

He noted that success in the profession demands sacrifice, diligence, and commitment to excellence [3].

 

The Acting Dean of the Faculty of Law, Dr. Kayode Akinsola, welcomed students to the institution, assuring them of an exciting legal training experience. The university is confident in its ability to produce world-class lawyers.
