Kebbi Activates  Flood Prevention Measures

The Kebbi State Government has initiated a proactive measure to prevent flooding in the state by commencing the clearance and evacuation of sensitive areas, particularly drains, ahead of the rainy season.

According to the Commissioner for Urban Development, Hayatu Bawa, the state government has begun the evacuation exercise in flood-prone areas to ensure the free flow of water and prevent flooding.

Bawa expressed his appreciation to the Kebbi State Governor, Nasir Idris, for approving the exercise and providing the necessary support and financial backing.
