UNN’s Outstanding Student Secures Fully Funded Commonwealth Scholarship
Chizoba Ejiofor, the exceptional student from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN), who graduated with an impressive CGPA of 4.98, has achieved a remarkable milestone.
Ejiofor has been awarded a fully funded Commonwealth scholarship, valued at over £33,000, to further his education.
The scholarship, which was secured through the efforts of education advocate and tech entrepreneur Alex Onyia, covers tuition fees, flight tickets, and monthly stipends.
Onyia had taken Ejiofor under his wing after the university failed to award him the promised N50,000 prize for academic excellence.
Onyia expressed his joy and fulfillment, saying, “No one can describe how happy and fulfilled I am today.” This achievement is a testament to Ejiofor’s hard work and dedication to his studies.
The scholarship will undoubtedly provide him with opportunities for further academic growth and development.
