Coco Gauff Wins Inaugural French Open Title, Triumphs over Sabalenka

Coco Gauff becomes the first American woman to secure the French Open crown since Serena Williams in 2015.
The 21-year-old rallied from a set down to vanquish Aryna Sabalenka, her Belarusian adversary, in the final on Saturday.

Gauff secured her title with a 6-4 victory in the final set.
This triumph marks the American’s second Grand Slam title, having previously won the US Open ladies’ singles title in 2023.
She becomes the first American since Serena Williams in 2015 to hoist the Suzanne-Lenglen Cup.
Gauff now leads the Belarusian 6-5 in their head-to-head encounters.
Additionally, she earned £2,166,912 as the tournament victor.
