El-Rufai Ups Attack Ante Against Tinubu in : “Urban Bandits Now Govern Nigeria.”
The former governor of Kaduna State, Nasir El-Rufai, has proclaimed that Nigeria is engulfed in a profound crisis, asserting that so-called “urban bandits” have usurped the mantle of leadership.
Addressing an audience on Saturday in Abuja during a public lecture entitled “Weaponization of Poverty as a Means of Underdevelopment: A Case Study of Nigeria,” El-Rufai decried the incessant pattern of electing unqualified individuals to positions of power.
The lecture was convened to commemorate the 60th birthday of former Rivers State Governor, Rotimi Amaechi.
