Tinubu’s Second Term Is Divinely Ordained, Coalition Against Him Will Fail, Declares Prophet Ojo

Renowned Nigerian cleric, Prophet Sam Ojo, has declared that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is destined to secure a second term in office, stating that any political coalition formed to unseat him in the 2027 general election will collapse.

The popular prophet made the statement during a Sunday service at his Lagos-based ministry, where he addressed a large congregation.

He asserted that the revelation was divinely received, emphasizing that President Tinubu’s re-election is not a matter of political calculation but of spiritual certainty.

“Mark this day. I speak not of my own will but from what God has shown me. President Tinubu will complete his first term and go on to win a second. No alliance, no coalition, no gang-up will prevail against what God has already sealed,” Prophet Ojo declared.

His comments come at a time when talks of a united opposition coalition are gaining momentum across Nigeria. Prominent political figures and parties—including the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Labour Party (LP), and others—are reportedly engaged in negotiations to form a front strong enough to challenge the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in 2027.

Prophet Ojo, however, insisted these efforts are destined to fail, adding that the forces behind Tinubu’s presidency are spiritual and not easily broken by political arrangements.

“This is not about popularity or propaganda. It is about divine assignment. The man [Tinubu] may face opposition, yes, but at the end, he will prevail because his second term is sealed by heaven,” he said.

The prophecy has stirred reactions from across the country, especially on social media. Supporters of the APC welcomed the declaration, describing it as validation of Tinubu’s leadership, while opposition voices and analysts criticized it as partisan and potentially misleading.

“We respect religion, but spiritual leaders must be cautious not to become political mouthpieces. Nigeria’s democracy is about the people’s choice, not predictions,” said Chinedu Okafor, a political analyst.

Prophet Sam Ojo has a history of making political predictions, some of which have previously stirred national debates. While some of his forecasts have come to pass, others have been widely disputed.

With the 2027 elections still over two years away, political maneuvering is expected to intensify. Tinubu’s administration continues to face criticism over economic hardship, insecurity, and rising inflation, despite ongoing reforms.

As opposition parties rally to challenge the status quo, Prophet Ojo’s prophecy adds a spiritual twist to what promises to be a fiercely contested political season.
