Paris Saint-Germain Thrash Inter Milan 5-0 to Win Champions League

Paris Saint-Germain have won the Champions League for the first time in their history, thrashing Inter Milan 5-0 in the final at the Allianz Arena in Munich on Saturday.

The French giants dominated the match from start to finish, with teenager Desire Doue scoring twice and setting up the opening goal for Achraf Hakimi.

The 5-0 scoreline marks the most one-sided final in the competition’s history.

PSG took the lead after just 12 minutes, when Hakimi sidefooted home a pass from Doue.

The Parisians doubled their lead eight minutes later, when defender Willian Pacho kept the ball from going out at the PSG end, sparking a fast-flowing move that ended with Doue firing in a deflected shot that evaded Inter goalkeeper Yann Sommer.

The match was all but over by halftime, as PSG made it 3-0 with a goal created by Vitinha’s surging run.

The Portuguese midfielder exchanged passes with Ousmane Dembele, before delivering a pass into the path of Doue, who drilled the ball into the net.

The second half was more of the same, as Georgian international Khvicha Kvaratskhelia scored a brilliant low finish to make it 4-0. The scoring was completed by 19-year-old substitute Senny Mayulu, who rounded off a slick passing move to make it 5-0.

The win marks a historic moment for PSG, who become just the second French club to win the Champions League since Marseille in 1993.

The Qatari-owned club has invested heavily in its squad in recent years, and the investment has finally paid off with the biggest prize in European football.

The thrashing win is a testament to the strength and depth of the PSG squad, and will be remembered as one of the most dominant performances in Champions League history.

As for Inter Milan, the defeat will be a tough pill to swallow, but they will look to regroup and come back stronger next season.

For now, the city of Paris will be celebrating long into the night, as PSG fans bask in the glory of their team’s historic Champions League win.
