Job Seeker Faints as Wife Delivers Triplets at FMC Lokoja

A dramatic turn of events unfolded at the Federal University Teaching Hospital in Lokoja, Kogi State, when Adamu Muhammed Tenimu, a job seeker, collapsed upon learning that his wife had given birth to triplets.

The unexpected news sent him into a state of emotional distress, and he fainted shortly after being informed of the arrival of the three baby girls.

Hospital staff and bystanders quickly rushed to his side, providing assistance and successfully revived him.

Fortunately, the mother and her newborn triplets are reportedly in good health. However, the family is now faced with the daunting challenge of caring for the triplets, a responsibility that has left them feeling overwhelmed.

Muhammed expressed his gratitude for the “miracle” while also conveying his concerns about the financial implications of caring for the triplets.

He explained that the family had only prepared for the birth of one child, as they were unaware of the multiple pregnancy due to their inability to afford regular scans.

The family’s situation has sparked an outpouring of support, with onlookers and well-wishers calling for assistance from the government, non-governmental organizations, and the general public.

Nuhu Alhassan, a colleague of Muhammed, has appealed to the Kogi State Government and the Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development to provide aid to the family, highlighting Muhammed’s law-abiding and hardworking nature.

As the family navigates this challenging time, they are in urgent need of medical supplies, nutrition, and financial support to ensure the well-being of the triplets.
