Kwankwaso Doffs Hat for Tinubu’s Two-Year Achievements

The All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain in Kano State, Dr. Musa Iliyasu Kwankwaso, has commended President Bola Tinubu’s outstanding performance in steering the country’s leadership as he marks his second year in office.

In a statement issued to newsmen in Kano on Thursday, Kwankwaso said President Tinubu has done “creditably well” in various spheres since assuming office two years ago, and deserves commendation from all citizens.

According to Kwankwaso, one of the notable achievements of the President is the significant improvement in security, particularly on major roads.

“For the first time in many years, Nigerians can travel through Birnin Gwari to Kaduna even at midnight; the road to Zaria through Funtua to Gusau is now peaceful, and Abuja-Kaduna road has been largely secured,” he said.

Kwankwaso, who is also the Executive Director of Finance at the Hadejia-Jama’are River Basin Development Authority (HJRBDA), also highlighted several other projects executed by the Tinubu administration, including the approval for the construction of the Kano northern bypass, the completion of the Kano-Kaduna-Abuja expressway, and the Ajaokuta-Kaduna-Kano (AKK) pipeline project.

The APC bigwig also commended the execution of the Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) project, which he said has helped reduce transportation costs across the country.

Additionally, he praised the establishment of the North-West Development Commission, facilitated by Deputy President of the Senate Barau Jibrin, which will enhance the socio-economic lives of people in the North-West region.

“He has done creditably well steering the mantle of the leadership of our great nation in so many spheres since he assumed office two years ago, and he deserves commendation from all citizens,” Kwankwaso said.

Kwankwaso’s commendation of President Tinubu’s achievements is a significant endorsement of the administration’s efforts to drive economic growth, improve security, and enhance the overall well-being of Nigerians.

The President’s second year in office has been marked by significant progress in various sectors, including infrastructure, agriculture, and healthcare.

The Tinubu administration has also made notable strides in addressing the country’s security challenges, with a significant reduction in banditry and kidnapping in several parts of the country.

As the President continues to work towards fulfilling his campaign promises, Kwankwaso’s commendation is a testament to the administration’s commitment to delivering on its mandate and improving the lives of Nigerians.
