Governor Ododo Praises Tinubu’s Developmental Strides on Second Anniversary

Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, has congratulated and praises the strides of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on the occasion of his second anniversary in office.

In a statement issued on Wednesday, May 29, 2025, in Lokoja, Governor Ododo commended the President’s leadership over the past two years and praised the impact of his administration’s reforms on national development.

Governor Ododo described President Tinubu’s tenure so far as bold, reform-driven, and focused on addressing long-standing structural issues in the Nigerian economy. He noted that despite initial challenges, the reforms introduced by the President are beginning to yield positive results that are gradually improving the lives of citizens.

“Nigerians are beginning to reap the benefits of President Tinubu’s bold economic reforms,” the governor said. “His administration’s commitment to restructuring the economy and strengthening democratic institutions has laid the foundation for a more prosperous and resilient Nigeria.”

The governor acknowledged the sacrifices Nigerians have had to make in the course of implementing some of the government’s policies, including the removal of fuel subsidies and the liberalization of the foreign exchange market. He expressed confidence in President Tinubu’s ability to steer the country through temporary hardships into a phase of sustainable growth.

Governor Ododo reaffirmed his support for the President’s Renewed Hope Agenda and emphasized that the Kogi State Government remains aligned with the Federal Government in its pursuit of economic development and national unity. He pledged continued collaboration and partnership in order to deliver good governance and improve the welfare of the people.
