Salah Named 2024-25 Premier League Player of the Season

Liverpool forward, Mohamed Salah has been named the Premier League’s Player of the Season for 2024-25.
This is the second time in his career that Salah has claimed the award, having first won it in 2017-18 after a sensational debut campaign with the Reds.
Salah’s incredible form has been a key factor in Liverpool’s title glory this season, which was secured with four matches to spare in April.
The Egyptian forward has produced one of the greatest individual Premier League seasons in history, supplying 28 goals and 18 assists in the top flight for Arne Slot’s side ahead of Sunday’s final fixture against Crystal Palace.
The 31-year-old’s impressive statistics make him the leading contender to top the charts as the division’s leading goalscorer and creator.
His performances have been nothing short of phenomenal, earning him widespread acclaim from fans, pundits, and fellow players alike.
Salah saw off stiff competition for the Player of the Season accolade from several top-class players, including teammates Ryan Gravenberch and Virgil van Dijk, as well as Morgan Gibbs-White, Alexander Isak, Bryan Mbeumo, Declan Rice, and Chris Wood from other Premier League clubs.
This latest recognition comes hot on the heels of Salah being named Football Writers’ Association footballer of the year for the third time earlier this month.
The Liverpool star received an overwhelming 90% of the votes, a testament to his outstanding contribution to the sport.
Salah’s award is a fitting tribute to his hard work, dedication, and natural talent. His ability to consistently perform at the highest level has made him a fan favorite at Anfield, and his achievements have cemented his status as one of the greatest players in Premier League history.
